Local authorities reporting of costs for collection of waste portable batteries and accumulators i 2010

As from 2009 producers and importers of portable batteries have been obliged to finance the municipal collection of waste portable batteries. Local authorities must at the same time establish collection schemes for waste portable batteries.To allow for the calculation of local authorities’ costs for collection the local authorities must report costs incurred to the Danish EPA. The document shows key figures regarding costs. Compensation are paid on the basis of DUT: Local government compensatory scheme.
