Who calls on the municipal collection sites?
Collective schemes are free to enter agreements with hauliers and recycling industries about the practical management of empty and filled collection equipment at the municipal collection sites. Therefore, operators must be given access to these municipal sites. Every year DPA publishes contact information of those operators associated with the allocated collective scheme that must have access to the municipal sites.

Note that at the municipal recycling centres it is always the allocated collective scheme that is the owner and holds the responsibility for producers’ collection of end-of-life electronics and portable batteries.
