A subcontractor means another business that manufactures products for your business according to your directions and specifications and, in some cases, label the product with your brand and/or name. Thereby, a subcontractor only makes its production capacity available, but your business is the one playing the role of the producer who draws up and/or makes decisions about the detailed specification of the products.

Distance selling means that there are no third parties involved and you sell directly to the end-user. You must register directly in the producer register. This may be, for instance, the sale of electrical and electronic equipment by means of distance communication directly to private households or to users other than private households in Denmark, and that you are established in another EU Member State or in a third country.
