Marking of products (BAT)

Batteries and accumulators are covered by 3 types of marking demands: Crossed-out whelled bin symbol, the chemical symbols for lead (Pb), mercury (Hg) or cadmium (Cd) (within certain limits) and an indication of capacity. In addition, producers and importers must inform users about management of waste batteries.
