Requirements for design of appliances (BAT)

In pursuance of rules on producer responsibility for waste batteries and accumulators this document describes general requirement as well as associated exemptions regarding design of appliances containing batteries and accumulators. The battery must be readily removable from the appliance in order to be treated and recycled environmentally correctly.
