Statutory Order no. 1271 of 06 December 2021 on certain requirements for packaging

(In Danish only) The statutory order implementing parts of the EU packaging directive relating to marking and classification of packaging materials, definition of packaging, including primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, requirements for heavy metal contents, glass packaging, plastic boxes, and plastic pallets, as well as minimum price for carrier bags, recycling and recovery targets for packaging. The statutory order does not implement the producer responsibility system and the take-back obligation. Statutory order implementing producer responsibility for packaging is expected during 2023.
